What tags fit the M12?

The M12 works with all major 2-piece tag brands — across both their management (VID) and EID tag ranges. That includes Allflex, Z-Tags, Leader, Y-Tex, and more.

It’s designed for flexibility and comes with a removable smart insert:

- Leave the insert in when using management or fly tags (VID)

- Remove the insert when switching to EID/NLIS buttons

Changing tag brands? Just swap the pin — it only takes a minute.

For larger jobs, particularly at branding, many producers run two M12s — one set up for management tags, the other for EID — so there's no need to keep switching things around.

What’s the warranty and can I get spare parts?

The Speed Tagger is backed by our 1 Year Yard-Proof Warranty. You can drop it in the yards or throw it in the back of the ute without worrying because it’s built to handle real-world conditions. If something goes wrong we’ll replace it.

How fast is the Speed Tagger?

The Speed Tagger is about 3 times faster than a manual applicator. That means animals spend less time restrained and heavily reduces the chances of ripping ears.

Because it’s automatic, you don’t need to be a brute or have a vice-like grip. There’s no squeezing or forcing — just line it up and pull the trigger. It’s fast, smooth, and easy on your hands — even after a full day of tagging.

How long does the battery last?

You can expect roughly 800–1,000 tags per charge under normal use, and with two batteries included, you’ll get through up to 2,000 head in a single day.
